I've been MIA for bit, haven't I? I'd like to have a nice excuse, but if anyone even reads this you must be so bored of my excuses. I keep thinking about writing, but never actually writing. I hear a song, a see something/someone and think of a small story. Yet, I never write it down anymore. Today I feel like re-reading Puddle of Memories, don't ask why. I miss the story, I guess? Who knows. Also I got a review (yay, lol). It wasn't very encouraging. It said something like "This story went from best I've read to worst" I am paraphrasing and fixed the grammar. I'll go back to Best Friends one day and try to improve. I may even finish posting it on FP. Who knows...

Something Like Summer by Jay Bell

I'm writing this review about two (?) years after I read this book for the first time. I highly recommend you give it a try. I bought it on whim, on a day I was home alone, feeling super depressed. I grabbed on to my iphone (bought kindle version), and did not leave my bed or stop reading until I finished it. I still remember laying down with a diet coke at 10am and finishing the book at 7pm, having 3 empty cans of coke around me and a very empty stomach.

it's cliche, it's a coming of age, it has it's moments were you have suspend you disbelieve, but it's sweet, poignant, feel bad then good story. I've read it once more since the first time and it took me 2 days to read and I'm highly considering reading it for a third time.

Feedback

I don't write for reviews. Well, technically it seems like I don't write at all lately, but when I do I don't do it hoping for reviews. I do it because I enjoy it, it helps distract me, and helps keep the voices in my head quiet.

However, when you post a story you do wish for a bit of feedback. It's like speaking to an empty room, even though you have things to say, why continue when not even your echo answers back?

I'm not the best at reviewing. I admit it but I'm going to make a compromise with myself to at least leave a one word review when I read something. Because, I don't want the stories I like to fade.

I've been terrible lately. I haven't written anything at all in months. I don't have an excuse what so ever, other than little time, little inspiration.

Posting FP.com is such a hassle I haven't even finished posting BF there, I'm sorry about that. I'll get to it I promise.

I have to be sincere here that the lack of reviews is not encouraging either, though when I write I do it mostly for my own sanity, posting them and getting no response is disheartening. I post because I'd like feedback, no one in real life reads what I write so I have no way of knowing if I'm doing something worthwhile or not.

I've set my self a goal anyway and it is to finish letters and posting BF on FP.com, no dateline but a goal. At least.

Thanks to anyone who reads or cares know that eventually I will be back.

Jack and Dustin

I sat down today to try and write a quick short about Jack and Dustin. I failed miserably, I don't know why Jack refuses to talk to me, and Dustin is not the best story teller out there. He wanted to talk about an awkward meeting her had with Jack's ex.

Let's see if we get Letter's done instead.

Stan and Joseph

I've resurfaced two stories I started back in '07 and haven't finished. I have some time to write until class starts, so lets see how this goes. I hope the garner some interest and reviewers will help me take these stories down the right path.

School's back

Yeah,so I go back to school on Monday. Been like crazy trying to write the next chp to TBC before then but getting nowhere with it. I'm also slowly reposting BF onto fictionpress.com. I want to write something new, but I'm unsure of what to write. Truth be told I'm not all that inspired at the moment. On a random note seriously considering going vegetarian.

They are decidedly not my typical music choice. I guess it shows the roller-coaster writing this story has put me through.

Chp. 22 of BF is at 1587 words. I'm at a point where I could call this chp finished, not just based on the word # but the point of "they arrived", they've had their moment. However, I  think the climax will be in the next half and with out it the chp won't be as entertaining and with it the story will be DONE. This will be the difficult part to write and if I call this chp done. I will use this as an excuse to take a bit longer on 23.t

I'm not sure what I'll do, but know that repost of 21 should be soon (waiting on Beta) and 22 should also be around next week (also waiting on beta).

Quick update about 200 words done on chp. 23 of BF.  :) Could this story be finished before 2012?

What is that I see? Over there not too close but not too far. Could it really be or am I dreaming? Yup, I think it is right there in the not too near not to far future an update.

I haven't given up and I hope you guys haven't given up on me either.

I owe you guys a review for The Far Away Years. I have a tight tight budget so I rarely will pay for a story I read for free, but this one was worth it. I'd like to say this started my rock star addiction, but it would be a lie. It simply fed it the most delicious supply ever...

gmail...grrr

Hello everyone! Did anyone notice that for two days my blog disappeared? Well gmail decided that I was not over 13 years old and blocked my account with the thread of deleting it with in 29 days. This completely sucked. However, after forking over some money I've solved and so we are back!

I'm kind of pissed this all happened and I'd like to say F U gmail I'm finding another email provider but what a hassle that would be!

TBC Soundtrack

Trying to finish this story but as always I'm having a bit of a hard time. A lot of music is mentioned on TBC and I'd figure I share with you music that helps inspire the story. Music that the band members would enjoy, etc.

Black Choir missing scene

This scene was one of the first written for TBC. Unfortunately it won't make it into the story and this character, Al, will not likely make it either. It's really a shame because I absolutely adore her. I wish I knew how to draw so that I could show you what she looks like in my mind. She is strong, she takes charge, doesn't give a shit. She has long black hair w/ bangs, tattoos as though they were giving them out for free. Her voice is rough but melodic I wish she'd made it into the story. She might be mentioned now, but will not be playing the part I had planned for her.
